Beijing car show 2010 Swift-R (prototybe)

"The SWIFT R is concept car on which Suzuki has blended styling cues from the GSX-R1000 motorcycle with the exterior design of the SWIFT compact car. As an expression of the sportiness that characterizes every Suzuki automobile and motorcycle, the SWIFT R will enhance Suzuki’s brand image.

With a view to increasing its automobile sales in the Chinese market, Suzuki Motor (China) Investment established a Shanghai branch in February this year. With its Shanghai branch at the core of its efforts, Suzuki Motor (China) Investment is working with Changan Suzuki and Jiangxi Changhe Suzuki to establish a network of more than 1,200 dealers by the end of 2010. Suzuki Motor (China) Investment also plans to open a directly managed showroom in Shanghai as its flagship Chinese outlet in 2011.

With regard to motorcycles, Suzuki Motor (China) Investment plans to offer Chinese customers a new kind of riding experience by introducing a number of large-displacement models including the Hayabusa 1300."
